A T Ramaswamy Legislature Committee has detected government land encroachedments in Bangalore urban district to the tune of about Rs.600 Crores. This is a huge blow for people who have invested in this properties by misguidance of greedy people. - 5.The survey no.5, Byrasandra tank bed, to the extent of 38 guntas.

More information can be had from the Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District. There is another encroachment of 39 acres by 206 people, where the survey numbers have not been released to the public.
